Research interests:

  • Endocrine disrupting chemicals in food, biological material and environmental samples (i.e. isoflavones, bisphenols, diglycidyl ethers of bisphenols, metabolites with estrogenic potential) - analysis using chromatographic methods and assessment of the biological effects of exposure.
  • The role of packaging in food safety - plastics, microplastics, migration of substances from packaging material to food - chemical (HPLC-FLD/PDA) and microscopic analysis.
  • Presence of toxic and/or prohibited substances in food and dietary supplements - immunochemical and chromatographic methods.
  • Alternative sources of natural bioactive compounds - extraction optimization and chromatographic analysis.
